Free stuff for your UIQ 3 smartphone : WorldMate!!!

Just when we thought there are too little applications for UIQ 3, today seems to be a lucky day for us UIQ 3 users. Mobimate just made it's most famous application Worldmate Professional Edition is available for free from it's website. If you have used WorldMate before, this is your best chance to get it for free. I have used it in the past on earlier UIQ 2 smartphones and also on S60 phones and found it to be very useful. However, once it implements the subscription based service, I quit using it because I think I can get the information it provides for free. Well, time changed and here I am ... :wink:

This free version gives you 6 services i.e. World clock, Weather forecast, Currency converter, size converter, clothing size converter and world day/night map. Now that's what I call value added services :wink:

Definitely one of the killer apps for my Sony Ericsson P1i. Now I need a decent mirc client for my mobile. Do you know any for P1i? Thanks.

There is no native IRC client for UIQ 3. The only available option is to use Java app, for example, jmIRC from http://jmirc.sourceforge.net/index.html and also WLIrc from http://wirelessirc.sourceforge.net/wlirc2/
