ASTRALCAT

Bermu-D.A.S. , birbirlerinden habersiz farklı eğitim süreçlerinden geçip, farklı ortamlarda aynı sorunları yaşayıp, aynı sanat görüşünü benimseyen üç kişinin yollarının kesişmesiyle kurulmuş bir sanat oluşumudur.

“Sanat” anlayışının felsefi boyuttan, teknik ve malzeme boyutuna kadar sürekli bir devinim ve değişim halinde olmasına karşın, gerek fakültelerde gerekse göz ardı edilemeyecek kadar geniş kitleleri kapsayan sanat-sanatçı camiasındaki “sanatsal değişim sürecini” gerilerden takip etme eğiliminin yarattığı “sıkışma etkisi” sonucu oluşan bir çekim alanıdır Bermu-D.A.S.

Üçgenin üç köşesinin de farklı yönlere baktığı halde bir bütün olduğu gibi, Bermu-D.A.S. üyeleri de sahip oldukları farklı özellikleri-farklı görüşleri aynı amaç için bir kotada bütünleştirip ortak enerji ve üretim alanı yaratmışlardır. Bu üçgenin ayaklarını oluşturan grup üyeleri farklı sanat disiplinlerinin ayrı ayrı başlıklar altında birbirinden bağımsız ele alınması görüşünü benimsememeleri sonucunda, bütün sanat dallarından/ disiplinlerinden beslenen ve “sanat” başlığı altında toplanan çalışmalar/eylemler yapmayı amaçlamaktadırlar.

Bermuda-D.A.S. is an art group that was formed at the intersection of the path of 3 individuals who despite their different educational experiences and environments encountered the same problems and embrace the same concept of art.

Despite continual changes in the concept of “Art” in terms of philosophy, technique and materials, a significant portion of the artistic/artist community, including university art faculties and young artists, are unable to follow these changes. The inability to follow these changes produces a “depression effect” that creates a field of gravity – Bermu-D.A.S.

Just as the three different angles of a triangle face different directions but come together to form a whole, the members of Bermu-D.A.S. possess different qualities and views, but with the same aim in mind, they have come together to a certain extent to create a shared field of energy and production. The members of the group, forming 3 legs of a tripod, reject the idea of independent artistic disciplines separated from each other under different headings; rather, they aim to create work/activities that are fed by different branches and disciplines and are brought together under the name of “art”.
