A look into a programmer's life

Some updates

, , , , ,

After some time... I decided to post something about what I've been doing lately p:

First of all hi

I just finished to commit the latest KCheckGMail code to the CVS fixing the login problem.
I hope somebody helps me out by patching what needs to be patched to fix the 'known issues' listed at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1650556&group_id=116095&atid=673717 (except for the While having KCheckGMail open, opening GMail with Konqueror doesn't
require to enter user/pass (feature or bug? ;-) )
one ).
Why? because I won't have time for the next two weeks, and I consider it is more than necessary to release a new version which fixes all the known bugs and adds Google Applications for Domain support (mentioned as GAP4D in the code).

Besides that, I decided to drop PHP4 support which means: InWeb CMS won't work under PHP4, x64Template2 won't work under PHP4 either.

I hope somebody noticed that I typed x64Template2! :D
I already started to work on it. What's new? well, it is a from 0 code, that means that it isn't based on x64Template.

Only to mention some of the changes:
  • New tags system
  • New plugins system
  • New config system
  • Caching support

It may sound like it is not big deal, but you'll see the result  .

I hope I will post some time soon. bye

Drop PHP4 support or not?Debian etch has been released
