Music, the food of neuroscience?

An intriguing article I found on Nature about some of the little information we know about how music affects our biology. Free access to the public!

What I found interesting was the evolutionary implication of music, and how it has been found that enjoying music triggers the same neuronal circuits that control response to biological-rewarding stimuli, such as food or sexual stimulus. Being linked to two of the main biological motivations of life, it makes you wonder how important music really is for humans.
