Blue Men ~ Blå Mænd

,

In the movie "Blue Men", Jesper is a successful salesman that doesn't take a no for a no.

He is in the top of the company he works in, he has a beautiful girlfriend and his life seems just perfect. One mistake changes it all: He looses his licence through drink-driving.

Jesper is sentenced to community service in the local rubbish dump. Here he gets two new colleagues, Lotte and Dion, who are weirdos to put it mildly.

The dump's leader is cantankerous Theodor. Jesper is now forced to conform to rules like never before, and work with people that he has always looked down at. When he loosens up he figures that he has a lot to learn from their simple and plain way to deal with life.

I liked this comedy. The story was simple, and the lines were hilarious. I laughed through the entire movie!

And the blue men aren't blue, but orange.

Comedies are not usually on my movies menu but it seems this one is special - you gave it 6 stars :D

It's not a movie that makes you think a lot. The plot is easy, but I just loved the dialogue. The writer of the movie is a Danish stand up comedian, so he knows how to make people laugh. :D

Wow! Another 6 stars! :D

I think the next movie I'll be watching is Wall-E. I have high expectations, so it will be interesting to see if it can live up to that! :D

I love comedies, it's a shame I'll probably never get to see this...

Yes, it's a shame that many of our films don't get showed in other countries. :frown:

I agree! Many of them deserve a bigger audience.

Apparently it takes many years to establish a country as worthy film makers.

At least Danish movies are very popular in Scandinavia
