A lot of different people have recorded this song: Cynthia Basinet, Eartha Kit, Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Pussycat Dolls etc etc...

Eartha Kit was the first one who recorded this, and many people think that Marilyn Monroe recorded it too, but she never did. It is Cynthia Basinet, that people are thinking of when they say that.

I know I haven't answered your question, but I am not sure who recorded this one in the post.
