Feeding barrels

We placed a few years ago some barrels for helping the pheasants and partidges through the winter. Now the fields are empty and they have a hard time without food and shelter. If we want to have more game we must feed them,when the hens are well fed they will produce more eggs. More eggs mean more chances for the youngsters to survive attacks from crows, cats, foxes, ratts, birds of prey.....These barrels costs almost nothing, you can easily buy it al at a DIY ( do it yourself, doe het zelf
)
If you call yourself a hunter, take care of your wild animals, if you have the possibility and time .
Hunting is far more than shooting, but this kind of things don't see people who are against hunting. They only hear the blast of the gun and say o they're killing again, but what we really do the whole year round , the don't see or hear
