OK! It is not so hard to follow! Clean said that he would merely turn the volume of his computer down to avoid the sound of my singing voice. Anyone who has owned a CB (Citizen's Band) radio, knows that there is a button on it called the sketch button. It allows you to cut out all the static background while waiting for someone to talk. I was merely saying that my voice is forceful and shrill enough to pass the highest setting! But Clean apparently never had a CB and didn't know what squelch was.

Yes! And my handle ("on line" haha name) is WHO'DAT. Like "who dat?" who say "who dat?" when I say "who dat?" (dat = that if you couldn't tell)! I was traveling around Florida at the time they were popular and spoke to quite a few people. The got indignant if would ask for the time ( "get a watch" they would respond haha). The worst thing about them was the short range of the general (not fixed) unit---about 2-3 miles.

..you had no cell phones at the time, and you know you may use short waves, and speak to australia with a very simple device
they were made this way on purpose, like a fix wireless home telephone, it must not bother your neighbors
