Tokio Hotel

She lived for more than 5 years in Germany and almost every year, when she get in vacation, she and the family go there and spend a whole month. Some time ago (I don't remember how many years) when she got back, she wanted to show me (as I'm so well known as the 'rocker' of the family) Tokio Hotel.
She bought cd's, downloaded videos, mp3 to her ipod and her father even found a puzzle about them. Ok, so I told her, let's see it!!
Here is the video she showed me:
When I first saw, she told me "You see? The singer? Isn't he so cute???!!!"
And I told: "What?... Is a he??
And she: "Don't say that!! He's cute! Handsome, amazing, he's... perfect!!"
And I got
She got angry about me...
And thinking better these days... I remembered that when I was a teenager too (my niece has 15 now, but I was 13, I clearly remember) I used to be mad about a band too.
The band I was mad about was Skid Row. Yes... Skid Row. I know!! Shame on me!! But I was 13 and I loved them. Specially of course, the vocals... Sebastian Bach!
And thinking of that I realized that... Bill Kaulitz (Tokio's vocals) is just imitating Sebastian after 20 years! Clothes, hair, make-up... style, voice! They're even alike!!! Yeah, call me crazy but if you see the videos you can see clearly see the similarity!!
Oh... wait, wait! Aren't they the same?? Or Bill is Sebastian's son??
This made me think about the new and the old, which are the same! Nothing is old and nothing is new!
Specially on music, bands and singers, writers... are always copying themselves. And that's bad because when we think something new happened, no... it's the same!
Lucky Tokio Hotel now, who are making so much money making success with the same image from 20 years ago!
