Words were floating on the breeze...

and I caught some to put here!!!

A trip with no destiny

One of the things I most like to do is getting out home with no destiny!

Yes, I'm a rebel soul. A free soul I like to think.

I always loved to get out in a Sunday morning, and get the road, road to somewhere. We always discover nice places in this way.

So, last weekend it happened again. We went to take breakfast out (here we have many regional restaurants, on the road, that offer great breakfasts) and after we took the road. The smell of the nature is fantastic!!

Francis drove until we get a small city (that used to be smaller years ago) and we were surprised to see a new thing!

"Wait! Are we in Rio de Janeiro?" We asked to each other!
(doesn't he seem to have sunglasses on the head?? :left: )

And looking to the other side of the road, we saw these others giant statues.

We didn't know why of these big statues and what they represent. So, we looked for a plaque somewhere. The Jesus was built for the local government because of a state deputy (who is evangelic) that created a law to build it.

The other statues, represent the production of "farinha" which is a kind of food made with cassava. And this town is a greater producer of farinha. Farinha is well consumed in Brazil, specially on the North.

Getting closer, we can understand the statue. He's like in a big pot where he's cooking cassava and making farinha.

The building near is a church :eyes: "What?" we thought. Yes, a church. The name of it we really didn't understand. And it has this strange shape.

Near the Jesus statue is a restaurant, and what paid our attention was a plaque on the grass. It was written in French also. French? In the middle of nowhere?? Nice!!

Well, very strange for a small town in the middle of the forest. By the way, the town is called Rio Preto da Eva, or as Francis said Eve's Black River!:lol:

We bought some oranges and drove back. In the road, there is a spa called "spa tropical" where my mother-in-law used to go when she was alive. She used to go there just to relax. It's a very nice place, like a farm, where you can rest and enjoy nature. Now, it's not only a spa, but a hotel too. So, if someone wants to pass some days off, this is a very nice place to go.

We found many fruit trees and even a couple of toucans!!

Francis decided to give me as mother's day a weekend on the spa. And I loved it!! We're going today afternoon and will be back just on Sunday afternoon!

I'm so excited!!!! :D I can't wait for!! So, I'll be out for this whole weekend and I'll bring you many photos and a lot of histories to tell!!!

Hope everybody can have a great mother's day! To the moms like me, I wish all the good things. God bless you all, cuz we really know what we suffer and we have to do to keep our children safe and fine! This road is hard but is SOOOOOOO good!! I love to be mother and if I wasn't, my life would have no reason! I'm sure you think the same!

Kisses to all mothers!! My dearest ones, Issy, Karen, Yulia, Sarah, if I forgot someone, sorry! I'm in a hurry day!! :D
