The purpose to have a blog

, ,

When you create a blog, you have a purpose.

Some want to share histories of life. Some want to expose themselves. Some want to expose their thoughts and art. And some just want to show their opinion.

Whatever is the purpose, I think that blogs must have manners rules.

If I own a blog, I'm allowed to write what I want to. If you visit it, you read and you can answer or not. It's your choice. I can't preview if what I write will be fine to you or not. I can't preview if some words can offend or not. I have the right to write, to show my opinion.

If you want to answer, that's ok. It's your right too. But don't go to a blog thinking that all that you write will be accepted and agreed. Don't go to a blog full of arrogance. Don't think that because you have a nationality different from others, you're better than them.

If you don't agree with what is written, just ignore it. Nobody must agree. You just leave this blog and don't need to return. Block this user if this please you.

But keep writing like you're the owner of the truth and like people are stupid. This is not a way to relate with people.

I'm very pissed with people with attitude like that. It's not a way to make friends (if this is the main objective of a blog). It's not polite. Isn't nice.

In the end of the history you feel like your hands and feet are tied, you can't do nothing. And seems that YOU is the only wrong in it. Isn't it uncomfortable? You're invaded like that and in the end you have to shut your mouth?

This is outrageous!

Milky & Puzzle - Update

, ,

Well, I have not told you yet my last surprise about the cats.

Me and Francis took the cats till the doctor, cos Puzzle had something strange in the ear. Getting there, the doctor said:

"First, let's see who is she, and who is he"

And I said: "Ok"

To our surprise, Puzzle, who was given to us as 'he' is in fact, a 'she'. we were suspecting this because you know, we couldn't see what defines a 'he' cat and we were thinking that was getting too late to see something...

And though we were surprised, we didn't get angry about. But we really knew why he, I mean, she was so angry. She was always called as 'he' and of course she didn't like it! p:

The last photos I took over the last week. They're about to complete 3 months now. Milky is more funny. She's fatter than Puzzle and not much self-confidence. Because of her fatness, she can't be so fast and can't jump too high.

Puzzle, on the other hand, is classy. Very agile.

When one is sleeping, the other is playing. But sometimes I can make them sleep together!

First post of this year

I didn't pay attention for the fact that I was very away from Opera since last year.

I mean, posting.

I came here sometimes, just read my messages, answered, changed my layout (and I'm still not satisfied with my photo) and today I saw at the calendar that I didn't do any post yet.

I've been very busy these last weeks. First with the year-end thing. Parties, family, food, etc. And after, with my new plans for this year.

I'm studying very much and working in some project that I really wanna. Can't talk yet, but if it works, you'll know about it.

And there is the mother-thing that I have to deal with. My daughter's classes will be back in two weeks and I've been working on it the last days. You know, in Brazil we must buy books, uniform, etc. And this take a while to have all done.

Next week it's her birthday and I'm planning to do something, even just a cake, but you know, 11 years old it's 11 years old and you just do it once p:

Sorry for being too far far away from Opera. And I'm sorry for have not followed your blogs anymore.

Hope see you more soon!

Tokio Hotel

, ,

Tokio Hotel is a rock-pop (or gothic?) band from Germany (well, at least it was told to me) and I have a niece who is totally mad about them!

She lived for more than 5 years in Germany and almost every year, when she get in vacation, she and the family go there and spend a whole month. Some time ago (I don't remember how many years) when she got back, she wanted to show me (as I'm so well known as the 'rocker' of the family) Tokio Hotel.

She bought cd's, downloaded videos, mp3 to her ipod and her father even found a puzzle about them. Ok, so I told her, let's see it!!

Here is the video she showed me:

When I first saw, she told me "You see? The singer? Isn't he so cute???!!!"
And I told: "What?... Is a he?? :eyes: No, you're kidding... A man?? :yuck: "
And she: "Don't say that!! He's cute! Handsome, amazing, he's... perfect!!"
And I got :eyes: for some time... untill tell her that "No, he isn't!"

She got angry about me...

And thinking better these days... I remembered that when I was a teenager too (my niece has 15 now, but I was 13, I clearly remember) I used to be mad about a band too.
The band I was mad about was Skid Row. Yes... Skid Row. I know!! Shame on me!! But I was 13 and I loved them. Specially of course, the vocals... Sebastian Bach!
And thinking of that I realized that... Bill Kaulitz (Tokio's vocals) is just imitating Sebastian after 20 years! Clothes, hair, make-up... style, voice! They're even alike!!! Yeah, call me crazy but if you see the videos you can see clearly see the similarity!!

Oh... wait, wait! Aren't they the same?? Or Bill is Sebastian's son?? :eyes:

This made me think about the new and the old, which are the same! Nothing is old and nothing is new!
Specially on music, bands and singers, writers... are always copying themselves. And that's bad because when we think something new happened, no... it's the same!

Lucky Tokio Hotel now, who are making so much money making success with the same image from 20 years ago!

Global Crisis - Part II

, ,

Regular people like me in Brazil are seeing that things are going to the 'hole' as we say here.

Companies firing. New offices and factories closing their doors. People are in debt... and much more.

The worse thing I've been watching is the price at supermarkets.

10 years ago, with R$ 300 reais (1 dollar = 2,60 reais... more or less) you would get out the supermarket with many things. A big quantity of itens and your car would be full. Now, when you go the supermarket, you spend 300 reais and you can't buy even the half of the things you used to buy.

Me and Francis need to go almost every week. Most because we need fruits and vegetables. And the best day for it is Monday. So, we go and buy fruits, vegetables and something else that have finished. We always spend almost 200 reais a week. So, in a month, 4 weeks, 800 reais. And we just buy what we need, not what we would like to. Because when we buy something 'out the list' the bill is much more than 200 reais. And we always get out there sad :frown: We feel stolen.

Our dear President is always saying that everything is normal. He always says that.
The financial institutions give the numbers of the inflation, and he says 'that's ok'. Ok to him, that don't have to pay his bills. We do!
The only sector which is having profits untill now, is the banking. The brazlian banks are the number ones in the economic structure and they have more profits than anything else.

We, regular people, work at companies and offices (some have their own business). We have our salary once a month, or divided twice a month (15th/30th day) and besides the commom bills (water, gas, eletricity, phone, etc) we have to eat. And when we go every week we see more clearly how the products are getting more expesive each week.

Beans, that we used to buy at 3 reais/packet, now we buy for 6.
Rice, we bought for 1 real/packet, now 2 or 3.
Meat, we bought 10 reais/kg (good meat, quality one), now 15, 16 reais/kg.
The frozen itens, like lasagna, pizza, chicken, etc... you have no idea how expensive they are!
If we buy just the minimum, we spend a lot. If we buy some more, some deli, for example, we spend much more.

In the beggining of this month, I read an article at Folha about the food price. They did a market research in 17 states of the country and in 11 states, they had the 'basic' food price increased (where I live is one of them).

According to Dieese (Estathistic Department and Economic Education) the basic salary in Brazil should be R$2.007,84 (the necessary to provide food, home, health, education, cloth, means of transportation, personal hygiene, leisure and social security) and the real salary brazilians have right now is R$415,00 reais, in other words, 4 times less than the really necessary.

Of course, people have different salaries according to the companies they work and qualificatons, but the companies and offices which pay R$415 reais to an employee... you can imagine how miserable a life can be!

I can't imagine how would be living with 415 reais!!! It can be horrable! No good food, buy clothes and shoes once a year (not that I buy every month), no leisure... I have friends that get more than 1.300,00 reais a month and they really don't have a good life!! It's such a bad life and our dear President saying that everything is fine!

Living in Brazil is hard, specially when you have someone trying to force you to believe that the country is amazing and the economy is great!!!

Thank you Glenn!!!

Glenn did a post today that made me speechless :zip: Thank you Glenn!! I always knew you loved me! p:
