Hi all!!

Yesterday was a very special day to me and my hubbie. We celebrated 1 year of marriage.

I know it seems early or few time, but to us, specially to me, it's really important. I have only to celebrate and thank God for the amazing things that happened to my life in the last 5 years. I'm so blessed and happy.

Yesterday was also the Father's Day in Brazil and all my family were together, celebrating and eating and sharing love to each other. We also got a champagne from my sister and his husband, we make a toast and my hubbie did a speech! Was so charming!

We're very happy and counting days down 'cos next Saturday we're travelling to Salvador, our 1 year gift

Can't wait to travel, to see the beaches there, visit old museums and churches (Salvador was the first capital of Brazil, until 1808) I'm so excited!

I wanted to post photos yesterday night and Opera didn't let me so. And today I tried again and seems that Opera is still upset with me.

It happened some weeks ago, but as I didn't take my cam I had to wait for my friend send it to me! Few images that represent a lot to me. My friends!! Not all of them, but some of the most important people in my life!

Today is my father's birthday!

He's 74 years old now! A long life and lots of stories to tell...

Have I told you that my father is Spanish? Oh, yes, he is. He came to Brazil in 1960 as volunteer. He worked for the Church in Spain and came to Manaus to work in a school called "Dom Bosco". I dont know how to write it in english, I just know that it was a very famous saint in Italy, who used to take care about children and teens, so till nowadays, this saint is seen as the protector of the children.

I studied there. All my Primary school. But this post is not to tell about me, but about my daddy.

So, he came to brazil, and I dont know why, what happened, but he left the school, and at the same time, he met my mother. He fell in love with her (she, I dont think so) and asked to date.

At that time (my mom always tell) women didnt have the right to choose. Not so much. She met him and thought: he seems to be a good man. And my grandma told her: you must marry him cos he seems to be a good man, so he'll be a good husband and a good father.

So, in just one year, they got married. And are till now. 42 years of marriage. Can you believe that?

Nor do I!!!!

My father is a very strong man, in force and life! He's the most confident men I've ever known in my life and he loves his sons as nobody!

I love him! And love veeeery much! Every time I think about him, as my father, as a man he always was, I cry... cos I imagine, how would be without him...

But today is a day for party, not to cry!

We'll go out to have lunch in a restaurant. Soon, I'll post the pics
