Words were floating on the breeze...

and I caught some to put here!!!

It's rainning again!

,

It's Christmas time and in many places in the world it's winter! Well, in Amazon is winter too!

Yes, it's winter! But not an ice winter, with snow and cold... but a rainny winter!

Here we have just two seasons. The one where all we have is just sun. And it's too hot that you feel you'll be fried if you go walk for some minutes. And the one all we have is just rain. Everyday, just rain. But not just a simple rain. Storms! And wind storms. The weather is not too cold. Well, in fact is not cold, but is much better than the sunny days we have.

Weather is very comfortable and even if it starts to rain, you don't mind because is not hot. You can walk and make your shoppings! p:

Six months in the year: sun. The other six months in the year: rain.

And Christmas here means: rain!

So, I chose a song for these rainny days I'm having in my city.

Oh, it's raining again
Oh no, my love's at an end
Oh no, it's raining again
And you know it's hard to pretend

Oh no, it's raining again
Too bad I'm losing a friend
Oh no, it's raining again
Oh will my heart ever mend

You're old enough some people say
To read the signs and walk away
It's only time that heals the pain
And makes the sun come out again

It's raining again
Oh no, my love's at an end
Oh no, it's raining again
Too bad I'm losing a friend

C'mon you little fighter
No need to get uptighter
C'mon you little fighter
And get back up again

It's raining again
Oh no, my love's at an end
Oh no, it's raining again
Too bad I'm losing a friend

C'mon you little fighter
No need to get uptighter
C'mon you little fighter
And get back up again
Oh, get back up again
Oh, fill (feel?) your heart again...

I guess this song so cute

Great Thursday to everyone! (And a great rainny day to me!) p:

b_laudanum 11. December 2008, 13:06

uttopia 11. December 2008, 15:13

That is about the 10th time I typed say instead of saw!!!It isn't dyslexia--what is it?!

b_laudanum 11. December 2008, 20:46

b_laudanum 12. December 2008, 02:08

uttopia 12. December 2008, 02:37

:coffee: dragonfly A book that was in use even in my mother's time. I think went out of print in the 70's! I suppose you took a course in school!

uttopia 12. December 2008, 02:38

Damn smiles keep going in front instead of behind----I am going to quit editing them to where they go! You will just have to cross your eyes! haha  :psmurf: dragonfly

b_laudanum 12. December 2008, 15:08

oohhh... I know what it is. I guess my mom used it too. My mom took the course. I didn't. I made the webdesign course. And all the other softwares together.

uttopia 13. December 2008, 00:45

:irked: I am not sure you understood what I said, as this reply does not fit with it! haha
I was saying that when I apply the smileys to my comment, they often seem to get placed in front of my written comment, instead of after it.

uttopia 13. December 2008, 00:46

See, the irked went in front instead of behind with the NO!

b_laudanum 13. December 2008, 17:58

I guess I forgot to answer your second comment :left: sorry!

b_laudanum 13. December 2008, 18:00

I didn't understand your point... isn't you that put the smilies wherever you want?

uttopia 13. December 2008, 21:24

I usually put 2 or three at the end. But when I close the smiley window they have moved to the front! So I have to cut and paste them where they belong! My cursor must wander over to the front of the comment or something, when I am picking the smileys!

b_laudanum 14. December 2008, 12:13

moved to the front?? :eyes: weird!! :alien:

uttopia 14. December 2008, 16:45

It is just a little work, plus I must check after submitting to see if everything came out all right, like I usually do with whispers! haha

b_laudanum 15. December 2008, 13:44

hmmmmmm... this sucks!

hey, look at this comment and tell what you think! do you agree to asnwer all the comments in one??

1) Have you ever heard of Paul Harvey?
http://www.paulharvey.com/
He was my favorite news person from teens on till I lost him from my radio maybe 10 years ago.

2) Sweet! :D

3) OK --but no laugh from you still? haha :yikes:

4) Grace said long ago, that she quit attending in the Churches where she grew up because of thy hypocrites! It is sad indeed that the members are the ones driving people away. That is why we see the Churches that were once filled are now down to "bare bones." They need to put their "tummies back on" again so to speak ( do you know what I mean?) haha

b_laudanum 15. December 2008, 13:53

My answers:

1) No, never heard of him... :frown:

2) Thank you!

3) No laughs!! Don't laugh at me! :irked: :D

4) Yeah, I quit the church I grew up too. I just married there in August just bc I couldn't feel fine in another one... but I was pissed with the priest, bc Francis wanted to do his first communion (he never did) just before the wedding, he really wanted, and the priest said... 'no, he has all the time in the world'... for god's sake!! I know he has! but he never wanted, and for a miracle he wished to be tunned with God, he wanted to make everything right, and the priest just throw a bucket full of cold water in Francis!!!!
We didn't come back there after the wedding. And Francis got very frustrated...

uttopia 16. December 2008, 02:03

!) I wish you could hear a few of his broadcasts--his style is so amusing---not funny, just fun.

2) You are welcome---I think! (forgot what we were talking about)

3) I would never laugh AT you! Sorry if it seemed that way!

4) Catholic church is a stickler about communion! Some other denominations are as well! Some only ask that you believe or have been baptised to come forward! I can see where this could put a damper on someone who is expecting to be taken into the fold with open arms. But communion is a higher level of sacrament it seems, for only those who have united with the church already in other ways. Have Francis read some of the Old Testament where it describes all the particular ways that the temple and other holy articles were diligently cared for. When some of the tribes got sloppy and did not follow the instructions, God let all of them die ( the WHOLE tribe!). So, he may see, that it is not just so simple! The expectations of the Church which represents God, are sometimes not seeming so important to those who do not understand, but still those who safeguard the rituals hold them as dear! I believe that the priest should have explained all this!

I am not sure I like your new way of combining comments! haha

b_laudanum 16. December 2008, 03:07

1) Is he a comedian??

2)

3) I didn't think about that. I just said that to guarantee!! p:

4) Francis got baptism when was a child and his family never was so catholic as mine always was, but since we commited to each he started to get envolved and agreed to marry and teach our children (if we have more than Juju) in the Catholic beliefs. I agree that Communion needs a preparation, but in this case, the priest could give it with the condition that Francis should come back after the wedding and make the preparation classes. It would be great for both, but I saw that as a 'non-vision' of a sheperd. He must understand that when a sheep is lost for some time, and this sheep wants to come in, you must do everything to have it again!

I like this way! p: I don't open many tabs anymore! :D

uttopia 16. December 2008, 03:58

1) No a newscaster (radio).
4) I only know that your church is so so strict on this point. I hope you don't take this as my being ugly! But please see if you can keep Francis from using this as an excuse for not going back to SOME church. Your not being such a staunch believer in the Catholic, may prove to be a reason for you to experiment with another denomination. However, I guess Brazil is 99% Catholic, isn't it?

5) You are just going to cut our conversation down to 1/4 of what it was!
2 and 3 are gone already.

b_laudanum 16. December 2008, 12:39

1) What does he do? I mean, what kind of subjects does he talk about?

2) and 3) were cut by you. Your option! p:

4) Yeah I know what you're talking about. But I doubt very much Francis in some church. He's not of these things.
No, Brazil is not 99% Catholic anymore. Many people are protestants now. People are turning in these new churches and religions. It's easier to take a place in heaven. If you know what I mean.
