Bicycle bog snorkelling, anyone?

Heck, this is a real dreck trek! From icWales: 'A mountain biking event with a difference will take place later today in a town famed for its oddball competitions. The annual World Mountain Biking Bog Snorkelling Championships in Britain's smallest town, Llanwrtyd Wells in Mid Wales, is one sporting event guaranteed to take place despite the recent inclement summer weather. Competitors have to negotiate a 6ft deep, 135ft long trench cut into the Waen Rhydd bog on the outskirts of the town. To allow entrants to pedal through the slurry, a special bike is provided which has tyres filled with lead and water.' More
