Tough rubber for gravity defiers!
The Big Earl freeride/downhill tyre with Gum-Bi compound for "stellar grip" and Stability Control Casing for low-pressure traction is apparently an easy mount and not too heavy (1275g for the 26 x 2.6), though there should be "a warning decal on the actual tyre to explain that you shouldn't just fit the tyre and pump the thing up without a tube or using sealant".
