When you've got it, flaunt it! Seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong reportedly arrived in style for the Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa on a private plane and began his ride in Elkhart. "There was a large crowd in Bondurant who watched as Armstrong sped through on his bike... He's riding to Newton Wednesday, where he will give a speech later. From there, the seven-time Tour de France winner will ride Thursday to Marengo and spend Friday visiting Iowa City and Coralville promoting cancer awareness." Source
