EPO found in bags of blood seized in doping probe

From AP/Yahoo! Sports: 'High levels of EPO were found in some of the bags of blood seized by Spanish authorities investigating doping in cycling, the Spanish daily El Mundo reported Friday. A total of 224 bags of blood, blood products and plasma were seized by police last May as part of "Operation Puerto", and 90 of the bags have been analysed chemically.' More
Tinkoff sign up disgraced Hamilton, Hondo
From AFP/Yahoo! Sports: 'Disgraced American cyclist Tyler Hamilton has signed a one-year deal with the Italian-Russian Tinkoff outfit. Hamilton's two-year ban for blood doping at the 2004 Tour of Spain ended in September but until recently he was suspected of being implicated in a Spanish doping investigation which marred most of the 2006 season. Since 2006 Tinkoff have participated in the International Cycling Union's (UCI) Continental Circuit, which is equivalent to cycling's second division and under the Pro Tour.' More
