A Parting

When I saw Angeliki's status, I hoped it wasn't true, that Sugarwinx, pictured here with her beloved BB, had taken down her blog, but when I investigated I learned the truth is far worse than my assumption; that our Esther has passed away in a house fire in her sleep. I don't want that to be true. I want to see her witty banter across opera in days and days ahead. I want to read more of her posts full of color, shine and sparkle. I want to see her beautiful smile again and again. I removed myself from my life and from myopera for so long while I wandered deeper and deeper into that dark depression cave. I assumed that the people that brightened my day that and I considered friends would always be there when I returned. I've taken people for granted while I was in my darkness. Don't you take anyone for granted, in this operaland or in the rest of your world. This life is but a vapor and gone too soon.
We are parted from our Esthersugar. Rest Peacefully, Dear Girl.

yes, my status were real...
she will be missed, she was a sunshine into our lives...
" I assumed that the people that brightened my day that and I considered friends would always be there when I returned. I've taken people for granted while I was in my darkness. "
no honey,
you did not take anything or anybody for granted,
you did what you had to do,
in order to cope with a very difficult time in your life...
I am very proud of what you did manage on your own ,
and I sure am
very happy to have you into my life...
this is a very sweet tribute
to our sunshine,
I thank you for it,
and I know Esther smiles reading all the love
we all express
in various posts

I did see at your post she was 28, I thank you for the info there...
I always say age is a number and
numbers are just numbers,
even if a person is 98 people that love him/her are not ready to see that person go...
I do feel that,
all of you that made a post in her memory ,
you are getting an extra angel on your shoulder by her, and I know Esther smiles down to all of us

I didn't know Esther as the rest of you knew her, but I'm also saddened.

the community has experienced a loss and are remembering, but if the loss is more of an empty space, someone you didn't have the chance to know, you've still lost something, someone, but how do you get to face the loss without anything to remember or express about them.
It must be hard also for the people who are parents to think of someone young maybe near the age of their children passing.
