as for your sunset, don't care where it was taken, its just a very beautiful picture, and you could almost say that there is something special in the air (so to speak)...lol

are you able to get Pell grants, etc? I did. Wouldn't have been able to live while going to school if I hadn't.

my school will not accept any federal funds even grants to students, i think my parents make too much for me to qualify anyway, which is great because at 26 it should definitely be based on my parents income right?! P:

Milk it while you can, is what I say. I was 50 when I went, and my parents weren't here anymore. I was an "independent" student, so it was pretty easy to qualify for Pells. I just got a two year degree (took 2 1/2 years) and managed on Pell grant, scholarship, and working as a student assistant. Last few semesters I went to work part time and took night courses.

I'll do my best :wink:I'm very grateful for my parents presence and everything they do for me. I do wish the aid people would notice that I have 2 younger sisters in college and am for the most part an independant adult. the depression has kept me from working full time in some time and the possibility of me pulling off school and enough work to support myself is quite small. I am lucky my grandparents need me and I need them. Your story of graduating is encouraging, I'll try to remember that finishing is possible as I drag myself out of bed tomorrow for my morning class :lol:

Be encouraged. You can do it. And you'll end up with a sense of accomplishment that is a very good feeling.
