Have you ever analyzed the psychology of list building and tried to find out the inside story of list building?

I'm not going to give you lots of theoretical mumbo jumbo,because anyone can do that which is hollow and not useful. Instead I'm going to give you a real example of the psychology of list building that really works for me. You can use the strategy in any niche.

Step 1.

Analyze the the problem and the solutions available to solve the problem. One of my niches is teen acne which is the topic of the case study I'm talking about now.

So I know this problem very well because I used to suffer from it. Even though you did not suffer from the problem yourself, you may still do research on the problem. Collect as much information as possible to make sure you understand what the individuals in your niche are thinking. And in this way you know what they desire

The majority of the available solutions, such as Stridex,Clearasil and other medications don't get to the essential part of the problem and they are not very effective to solve the teen acne. At least they don't cure fast. So when a kid is going to the prom in a few days and he breaks out, he probably has no luck. Anyway, you ought to thoroughly knowwhat the current solutions are and what their limitations are before you can offer YOUR solution... the better one. This is the only way you can explain WHY your solution is far better.

Step 2

Put together your free report explaining all the things. Explain the
problem, explain the traditional solutions. Then explain how YOURS is
better. At the end of the report, give them the link to your product and assure them that they'll obtain the results they're looking for.

Step 3

Put together your informative auto-responder messages. But don't reveal the secrets to your solution in your e-mails. You may only get into more depth for some of the point covered in your emails. And you should keep in mind that keep your auto-responder messages at least 7 emails long.

Why?

Because a lot of people aren't going to buy from you after just one
contact. You need to establish trust. You've worked your way to doing this by sharing the information that you already learn.

Now, here is what most people don't realize and you ought to firmly put
this in your mind.

Tell them the well known FIRST that makes them more likely to believe the not so well known.

Let them know the things they already konw makes them assure that you understand the issue so well, so you definitely know what you are talking about. And they will also believe that you maybe have a good solution for the problem.

You will have a much easier chance of establishing credibility with the person if you not just tell the not well known information and also tell the pretty well known information. This is useful for any of your online business.

Step 4

Set up your squeeze page telling the visitors what they will learn in your absolutely free giveaway ebook. List the benefits of the ebook and make sure they believe the ebook is useful and will help them greatly.

For example.

"In this report, you'll discover the real causes of acne and what you can
do to stay away from future outbreaks. You'll also find out why traditional
treatment options don't work."

This tactic can be used in any niche. It's just like an article teaser that you write for ezine.
