Well we are moved and semi-settled. That's to say the dishes are in the cupboards, the clothes are put away, the furniture is arranged (sort of) and the huose is starting to feel like home! I have a job at a local vet office as manager and I love it! There is a much more relaxed pace of life here than in NC and it just suits me better. I came in June and Gary and the rest of them acam Auguse 1. More later.

Well here I am getting down to the wire on the move and when I should be up and packing I'm here on the computer writing this Blog! There just seems like so much to do that I can't get myself started this morning. It's a rainy, cloudy day out and I just feel really blah.
Nuf of that. Right now Gary and I live in an apartment above a barn in North Carolina. My view is the pasture and trees where the horses graze and I've loved this relaxing place out here in the country to come home to. I've spent the last 7 months in a self imposed exile trying to get my mind back and figure out just where it is I want to go from here. I guess you could say I sort of had a mild breakdown and needed some time to sit back and recoop. The move home to Iowa was my idea. This area is just too hectic and too expensive. The Hectic rush is what gets to me though. I can get hectic enough without everything around me being that way! Home in Iowa is slower and has an even pulse in it's life. Family will be all around and I'm looking forward to getting back to my roots.
