Well how am I getting on with Ubuntu?
I threw a hissy fit the other day and uninstalled it. After a wee chat with a friend who had also just installed it, I decided to give it another go.
Reinstalled the OS and all seemed well. Naturally I expected a problem with setting up the wireless network, but this time round the steps I did before did not work. I setup dhcp and it worked fine. Strange computer.
I asked my friend Toby how to install Opera browser as I hate firefox. It took us around about 3 hours to install. It was a nightmare. Eventually we did it. I felt sorry for Toby as he was trying his best to help but nothing was working. He finally cracked it though, well done Tobester.
So I have a few thigs up and running, including this program for creating blog entries. Its called Drivel Journal Editor and works great, althogh I cannot seem to add a title.
Its all a big learning curve, hopefully I will give it more of a chance this time round.
