Went to watch Star Wars Episode 3 today at the cinema. It was a very enjoyable film. I felt all the questions I wanted answering as to why or how certain things in the original film happened, were answered.
How did the emperor get his scarred face?
Why did Anakin Skywalker turn to the dark side?
How did he get that black suit?
What happened to the twins to cause their seperation?
Its little things like that which helped in bringing the series to an end. Well done to Lucas.
As for the cinema itself, the screen only had about 30 people in it. I was the first one in and after a while it ended up being about 30 people. May not seem alot but they had it showing in 6 screens once an hour alternating.
I was extremely shocked at the food and drink prices though. £1.95 for a coffee, £3.50 for a hotdog, £2.40 for a bag of maltesers. Shocking prices, its little wonder I rarely go to the cinema - last film I saw there was Shrek :-)
