BBC NEWS | UK | Memorial service for tsunami dead
: "A national memorial service for victims of December's tsunami is to be attended by survivors, relatives and royalty.
The Queen and Prime Minister Tony Blair will be among those at the service at St Paul's Cathedral, London.
Some of the bereaved and people from the countries hit by the disaster will place candles and flowers at the altar.
During a two-minute silence, about 300,000 petals - about one for every person killed - will fall from the cathedral's dome and galleries.
The petals will come from flowers of each of the 12 countries affected by December's waves."
