Finally Liberated From Cables

Its a joyous day today and one which should be celebrated. In fact I truly believe it should become a national holiday. Everyone should have a day off for National Cable-Free Day.
Today I finally bought the wireless network I really wanted. It cost me a few pennies under £100 for one Dlink DSL604 wireless router, came with free USB adaptor for the PC, plus one pcmcia card for the laptop.
I got it home and unwrapped it all and checked the manual. Set it up okay but it was not secured. I phoned the DLink support line and they explained the format my password needed to be. That setup okay but the other PC would not connect with the password but WOULD connect without secure password. Very strange problem, very strange headache occurs and after an hour or so of messing about with settings with the help of a friend, I finally decided not to secure it for now. I know people could steal my bandwidth, but I will cross that bridge if I come across a problem. For now, the network is all setup, 2 computers and xbox connecting fine.
The picture below is all the cables I no longer need because I have gone wireless, its astonishing how much a few internet connections need in wires. Glad its all gone now :-)
