Sony PSP date set for UK Launch

Finally the long awaited Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) is to hit UK stores. After successful Japan and US launches, Sony have finally decided on a date to launch the console in the UK.
1st September 2005 is the date to mark into your diary with a recommended retail price of £179.99
Some people say that £179.99 is too much and does not compare fairly to the US version sellling for only $250 (£130) but straight currency conversions really do not work as you have to take into account wages and cost of living in different countries. Having already purchased a PSP (imported) I can truly say that the PSP is definitely worth £179.99 with its multimedia features not limited to games. To have games, music, movies and ability to store photos in one easy package, the PSP is definitely worth saving for.
