蹦蹦的第一次家长会

蹦蹦上小学已经1个月了,今天她的学校第一次家长会。前1个小时是校长的讲话,主要是说明小学教育的目的,介绍小学的风格,我佷喜欢,性格的培养和品格的建立是人立足于社会的首要条件。
School vision: Every child is nurtured and prepared for continuous learning and to face the challenges at their future work place.
School Mission: To nurture and develop adaptable, creative, confident and discerning pupils who value the holistic education that prepares them as life-long learners and useful citizens.
Social Emotional Early Childhood Learning Programme: will teach children about confidence, persistence, getting-along, organized and emotional resilience skills. 12 positive of Habits of Minds will reinforce these 5 foundations of social-emotional capabilities, these include being socially responsible, playing by the rules, thinking first, being tolerant of others, planning time, setting goals, working tough, giving effort, I can do it, being independent, taking risks and accepting myself.
Star and leadership for each pupil: encourage each pupil to be star and leader in their society, take some kind of responsibility, for breakfast, for PE, for collecting books, et al. Find the strongpoint for each pupil.
然后是和Form teacher见面,老师会详细介绍这一个月的学习内容,回答家长的问题。老师还特别强调,Primary 1会考试2次,但是考试的目的只是测试学生在哪些方面有不足,以便以后更有针对性的继续加强教育。所以,考试的成绩不会告诉家长。
家长会结束以后,每个家长都会去问一下,我的孩子怎么样?老师的回答简洁而到位, 每个孩子在她眼中都个性鲜明。有一个孩子,她说,very active.家长就笑,说是不是佷naughty? 老师也笑。另一个,老师说very forgettable, always said it's mom's mistake, dad's mistake, never say I forget to show, but already improve a lot. 听了几个她对孩子的评价,能感到她平时观察佷仔细,对孩子也佷耐心,针对性佷强,就上前去问她关于蹦蹦的情况。她说very bright. the most bright pupil in class. very fast to learn. 还是不放心,担心英语,因为毕竟和新加坡人在家都说英语不同,就问她我们还需要在家里做什么功课,来配合老师。 老师说,她学什么都佷快,真的不用担心。我又问,蹦蹦和同学相处怎么样,她又说absolute no problem. very bright.看来老师真的对她还算满意,就高兴地回家了。
蹦蹦听我说了以后,就眉飞色舞的说,我说老师喜欢我吧,每次她都让我做group leader和小老师,管其他的同学,you keep quite, you do this. 还让我拿我的作业和画的画给每个group的同学看,说very nice.让她又陶醉了一下,然后给爷爷奶奶打电话,又是一顿表扬与自我表扬,那个美!
