Morrowind's pervertic implications
Ok. I have to reiterate my stance here that I'm no pervert, just a little more curious than the rest of yall.
So I was playing Morrowind again (after i reformatted my HDD without backing up my saved games). And this time i managed to install the 2 expansion series it offered. So there was this event when i had to fight a demi-God called Amalaxia and she was hot. But what really piqued my interest was when i killed her.

So now you know whats under that flurry piece of loin cloth covering her.

iGallop : iHorny
Seriously, that's my first impression of this conception. Like how's thats supposed to burn fats, trim down or whatever marketing terms thay now use to misguide the public to rake in profits. I can understand if that seat has a level 100 switch that makes it turn into a raging bull - which will then train a person seriously for a rodeo contest, which in turn might have a noticeable effect on toning the abs. But for what they're offering, to me its nothing more than an assisted sex apparatus, for a night of slow love-making. They should make the seats a little longer though.

Wish we were Heroes in the setting sun...
I was at the Annual Feedback Groups Conference down at the Pan Pacific a week ago. It was my first time there and my expectations on how peopla were going to react during the Q&A session were pretty much met.
Most were just voicing their grievences and personal opinion on what needs to be changed. Many were just concerned over money matters, some were overly reacting, and then we have the typical feminist voice. I can easily say that over 50% of those voices from the public were in the wrong forums. They took it as a chance to gain an insight to how the Government was gonna handle matters, just coz the Health Minister, Mr Khaw was present.
Anyway, although I had only about 3hrs sleep before, I wasn't particularly sleepy throughout the whole event - probably the 2 cups of coffee did the trick. There was one thing Mr Khaw said that struck me the most as to what the nation needs. He mentioned the the world is need of foreign talents, and not just Singapore. Judging from the public opinion that morning, I realised what Singapore and the world needs are not talents, or not just talents for that matter.
What we need these days are Heroes. Heroes that project the voice of the people through their actions. Heroes whose voices changes the actions of the people. These Heroes are valiant, steadfast and passionate. A white horse or a white BMW is optional.
Because the world has lost trust of society, we need a face, an action to bring us back to when neccesities were basic and everything else were secondary. We need actions that speaks of selflessness, and we need a figure we can exemplify. Such heroes need not be Neo from the Matrix, or Aragon from LOTR. Such Heroes need only a face we can relate, actions we can learn and a voice we will follow. Such Heroes are what what the world needs to believe that we can still hold on to the very last strand of faith that God instills in us - Hope.

Of course by Heroes yall know i do include the female heroes or heroines as well.

The Rainbow Connection
It was 2am when i flagged a cab back to home. It was then when a black SUV pulled up besides me when we reached a junction on the road. Of course you would already know its a female driver that's worth my mentioning. She wore a pair of glasses, and she was yawning with her mouth open when she noticed i was looking at her discreetly through my window. So she inched forward just to get a better look at me. It was then when the lights turned green. She turned her head around to give me another look as she accelerated off. Right...maybe she was just wondering who this creep was, and why i was giving her the lecherous looks. But, i prefer to think of it that she finds me attractive.
I'm sure many of us has experienced situations like these ever so often: Glimpses exchanged, but nothing beyond that has taken place. Imagine such opportunities could have turned out well into a blossoming relationship that's filled with Love. But they were lost...Lost without even getting to know each other.

We could have been lovers, or dreamers like me...

Love I Find
I search in vain for love of life
Thou fear ye do not find
Through many oceans that’s I have crossed
Yet true love remains to be lost
Many a times I think to myself
Why thou I could not find
The answer to my hopes, the lady of my dreams
The stars I search for signs
And if it ever recur to me
This love I had in mind
I pray the Lord, this keep I find
Thy love forever shine

Merry Christmas my Arse
Merry Christmas, one and all. I had the chance to attend the much touted City Harvest Christmas service at the Expo back in Singapore. There they had 2 services: the first one starts at 430pm and the other 730pm. We had intended to attend the earlier service so we could have more time to relax later in the day. However, whilst enroute we met up with a minor car accident which delayed our trip. By the time we reached there, we were probably late by 30-45min. They had scores of security personnel there, for God knows what reason would occur for the throngs of Christian brothers and sisters who were only there to praise God. As can be predicted, we couldn't get ourselves in. They simply wouldn't allow us to praise God and all His glory, simply coz we were late. Naturally i was infuriated that such an event, in the name of Jesus, can prohibit worshippers from entering the service. I could have started a Jihad right there and then. Instead i chose to speak aloud so the people there can hear my grievances. So this guy came up and said that there simply wasn't enough space left for us to get in. He said that it was more of a policy or regulation issue of the Expo Hall that prohibits us from entering. We shall see later on that he was misinformed. I had agreed that it is correct should the capacity be filled that under safety regulations they cannot put more people in than it can contain. So my rebuttal is that they should have came up with a system (perhaps one of ticketing or by token issue) that will allow only the number allowed in the hall, so people who had queued for ages at the back could have known they couldn’t be admitted and not waste time staying there. Later on they realized my contention was correct and apologized profusely and offered some discount on a stupid carnival that’s just another money making spin.
When we did get into the queue, we had crazy ushers screaming for us to keep moving in, to be squashed sandwiched amongst the crowd. I don’t understand why they did that, which impedes on my personal space and that of everyone else. Surely if they could employ the hundreds of security personnel to do whatever they’re supposed to do, could in the same instance be put to better use to direct the queue line efficiently instead of squeezing us all. So when the fake pearly gates did open, another category of mad ushers were shouting for us to move in quickly becoz the service is about to begin? It was only 7pm. It didn’t start until 30min later. Christ… Then there were the cell group people who booked seats for their groupies… and what was I supposed to do? Moved to the back? Their shadows weren’t even present and I queued with the pigs only to be pushed away? Screw this man! I felt extremely uncomfortable with the entire shit. The entire service was nothing more than extreme hypocrisy in practice at its best. People greeting you with the usual Christmas shit, but not a smile on the streets. The worst thing was, when my friends went to the washroom just before the service starts, they had these squeal-ly ushers that pressed me to call them to get back quickly. What the…starfish! And guess what, nobody could get to the washroom when the service starts, you wouldn’t be allowed in if you do your basic necessity. The service was 3hrs!
Merry Christmas my arse… what’s so merry when you know that the people in there does not represent the average person without a car. What so merry when you know there’s people out in the streets with no food, no job, no money and the hypocrites around me are singing happily. Unscrew the world I say.

Itsy Bitsy Spider Web of Deceive
Have you ever wondered why humans are growing more and more distant from each other and the idea of ‘trust’ is almost a thing of the past?
I discovered this whilst I was shopping in the supermarket and noticed that product companies of almost every industry are marketing their products in manipulative ways to confuse consumers in buying their products. These products may or may not help the consumers in their needs, but their methods of reaching to the audience can be seen by tempting buyers with sure-cure miracle, or money-back guarantees that sounds too good to be true. Some of course are genuine but my contention is such that we get lured and fooled into a dimension of lies which our own species has created solely for the profit of oneself. When we realize such events happening to us, we withdraw from the society and build up our defenses, being part of the human survival instincts, to protect ourselves so that we will not be easily fooled again. The lies we choose to make may serve to protect ourselves but in so doing we also start a chain of events that may destroy us eventually. So if you remember why your parents told you never to speak to strangers, now you know the answer.

Anti-Monopoly
Just got myself a very special board game: Anti-Monopoly®. First got to learn about the existence of this game accidentally through a web search on Monopoly as I had wanted to learn what the statistics were landing on the various properties. I then learned that the game Anti-Monopoly was actually created to raise awareness to the public that the largely popular game Monopoly was in fact stolen and plagiarized by Parker Brothers, as this site claimed. Although I haven’t had a chance to play it yet, the rules seem rather similar except that it reflects the reality of property management in practical manner. Players get to choose to play either as a monopolist or a competitor. Can’t wait to try it out with somebody. Check out their website here , these guys are still in a lawsuit with the Parker Brothers and they are highly educated people… like you and I ;P

Moreton Island Adventure
Had a great time at Moreton Island just over the weekend. A 2 day/1 night stay outdoor adventure. We stayed in tents they were already pitched, and to add comfort, they actually provide a mattress with bed sheet, a pillow with case, and a sleeping bag just in case. How cool is that? I had thought it was a real boot camp style kinda adventure but this tour sure made it as comfortable as possible without sacrificing the outdoorsy feel.
Although everything else was fine, the weather wasn’t as kind. It was unbearably hot in the day, and it rained unpredictably, spoiling the day…and night. Still I find it too hot to sleep in the tents coz it was just too warm for me. Then there was this whole brood of mosquitoes that kept making my sleep miserable. Although I’ve been to worse places and worse situations, its funny why I find this miserable. I’m thinking it’s because I haven’t got my army fatigues (which gives me power…psychologically). Anyhow, how other fellas tents were far worst after the night which rained cats and frogs – theirs were flooded! I just wonder how they slept through it, coz I didn’t.
Met some really nice people there, one of which was the guide named Bruce aka Sharky. I realized later on that he was in fact a Kiwi (or a New Zealander) and for most part of his time as a guide on Moreton, many believed he was a true Aussie, what with his accent and antics. He told me one of his dreams was to swim in the Indian Ocean. No reason why, just had to.
There were other activities like sand tobaganing and snorkeling which I had the chance to experience on Moreton. Overall it was a great trip which I recommend to anyone looking for an adventure. Currently they offer the best deals ($49AUD 2 days / 1 night stay, meals inclusive) which last this week. Check out blueplanettours.com.au.

Van Nguyen: Live and Let Die
The case of Van Nguyen has seriously been overplayed by the media on trying to draw hopes that he will not be hanged for his drug-related offences, as well as to put down the Singapore Government’s authority on giving the death penalty for drug related crimes.
Van Nguyen, an Australian citizen with Vietnamese descent was jailed sometime in 2002 for possessing nearly 400g of Heroin whilst transiting Singapore. Reports claimed he was used as a drug mule where he was helping his twin brother pay off his debts, allegedly caused by an addiction of the same drug.
Currently, many Australians have rallied to show support for Van Nguyen’s family, in particularly his mother, who had appealed several times to the Singapore Government and has also appeared on national television news to voice her appeals. Understandably, Van Nguyen’s mother was grief-stricken by news that her son will face execution by hanging, but has carried on hopes that her pleas will be heard.
The Australian Government has also tried to appeal to the PM of Singapore for a pardon, but apparently to no avail. The latest news was for Victoria's Attorney General, Rob Hulls to try a final appeal against the execution but was again turned down.
My view on this issue is to just give it up. First off, I am rather pissed off by the Australian media to aggravate the issue by displaying a bias against the Singapore Government’s decisions, as well as the Ministers involved. They tend to include unnecessary information just so to create an image that makes the Singapore Government’s reactions look amateurish. This I feel will create a false image on the general public who already has an overflow of disinformation about Singapore.
Look, I really pity the guy and his family, I really do. But we have to understand the effects of the drugs Van Nguyen was carrying should it pass through the Singapore Customs; 400g of Heroin can make more than 100 doses for addicts on the streets. Why hasn’t the Australian media said anything about its own citizens having recently created a whole string of drug related offences from Bali to America? I mean, it just seems like Australia views drug-taking as a phase of their lives and everyone knows about it, but nobody wants to clean it up. We have to understand that if Van Nguyen had been successful in bringing the Heroin on the streets, many others who are addicts (and non-addicts) can die of drug related deaths. All because Van Nguyen wanted to clear his brother’s debts?? Who then is going to console the druggies’ families? Who then will appeal for tighter laws governing drug trafficking?? Who then will help the addicts clear their debts on drug-taking, who had taken the Heroin that was sold on the streets, which had been transported by Van Nguyen? This whole thing creates big and vicious chain reaction that must be stop somehow, and somebody will have to pay – in this case, dearly. If Van Nguyen had wanted to help his brother clear his debts, using illegal means are definitely not the way! Everybody knows that there is no shortcut to success – you want the money, you will have to work for it…legally of course. Why be the person who’s gonna be feeding more drugs to people who are already desperately in need of salvation?
It is true that Singapore has very tough laws against drug-related offences, but that is precisely why laws are kept in place: to keep the streets safe so you and your kids can walk about without being bumped by addicts demanding money, or street peddlers offering ‘free samples’ to your teenage son at the club, or worrying about your daughter’s visits to clubs where rape-drugs are rampant.
Can’t Australia see the light to this issue? Yes I’m sure they can, but it’s just that people wouldn’t react to it unless their family or friends has been a victim to drugs and know how they can kill your loved ones before they will say that what Van Nguyen has done was just wrong. The death penalty is there as a deterrent to anyone else that tries to commit drug-related offences that will harm and kill many others for the benefit of oneself. No doubt it is unfortunate that Van Nguyen will be made an example of this punishment, but nonetheless, Australians had absolutely no idea that Singapore carries such tough penalties should anyone else risk it. Furthermore, what would others think if the Singapore Government had pardoned Van Nguyen on his offence? The offence that so many others from around the world had tried and failed and had to be hanged for their crimes. Should the Government then consider pardoning the others in the future? What kind of governing system would the Republic have, had it accede to the requests of another country’s political influence despite the charges being set out by law?
And what’s this shit about showing contempt for Australia? It just doesn’t work this way people.
