My wonderful honey,
All day today, Saturday, I go through our routines we went through the last couple of weeks at Saturdays, like your obsession for cleaning, our breakfast, lunch, your nap................ I miss it all so much.
The presents both for Liesbeth, Nura as well as my mother were very well received, honey. Nura wants to wear her scarf on Monday to work, that is her way of saying of how much she likes it and Liesbeth was saying that she has to find clothes now to wear with the dress, instead of vice versa................. And most of all she loved the flower design at the scarf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She wears scarfs a lot. And my thought about that was wrong, she was extremely happy with it honey. She says so much thanks to you.
My mother liked the what she called the cow, or the buffalo. She wants to hang it on the wall. I explained to her and my brother about us, our plans, about Tom and how much I like him, and how we get along. They looked happy. I told them too about the possibility of work. Of course my mother was not happy with that at all. For my brother it is no point, he does not care. I hope we have the opportunity to meet my family. I am sure they will like you and Tom a lot.
At the end of the day I visited my aunt (my cousin is at holidays in Italy), but did not talk about my mother. I do not want my opinions to be expressed in her way to my mom again.
First my mother needs a medical indication for that nursing home, that takes about 3 weeks and then she has to decide. I phoned her this morning and told her that she is the only one who should make the decision and should feel comfortable with that decision, it is not up to her sons or her daughter in law. But she is very weak honey. I observed her - yes I did - during our supper, how she manages in the kitchen and it is scary, especially with the lighting of the gaz, the warming of the milk, or whatever she has on the stove. She can hardly hold the pans and pots anymore. She has lost her strength in her arms and fingers. She forgets things too, like turning off the gaz etc.
