Just got back into Philly. What a whirlwind few days. Got in Monday night, hung out with Ed and Jon, then the big event Tuesday, then hung out some more with Ed and Brian Johnson (Opera Community Manager), and then did the David Lawrence radio show (http://www.thedavidlawrenceshow.com) It was a great interview and David was as awesome as ever. I had an hour to talk about Opera browser, the event in Seattle, and why people should switch.
We tape the show tomorrow so there will be more about Seattle on this weeks show, and I'll also be blogging about some of the highlights. I still have more pictures to post (I took about 250 of them!)
Welp, a few more hours and I'll be flying the friendly (or not so friendly if you ask me) skies.
I'm on my way to Seattle for the big Opera announcement tomorrow at 10:30am PST. I still have no freakin' clue what the announcement/launch is. I guess I'll find out soon. I'll be taking video/audio and blogging the whole time I'm there, so keep a geek eye on this spot for more info.
Weekly tech news. This week, Google Powerpoint, Bill Gates stepping back while Scoble moves on, World Cup Soccer, Iris on the Virus, Nokia 770 reviewed, Geek Eye for the Lame Guy, Amazon groceries, Picasa Web and much, much more....

In this episode of Best Damn Tech Preramble, the BDTSP crew yaps about last weeks audio quality, Drew slips up and turns the show X rated...and yes, he still has a potty mouth.
Hey everyone, as you know, I will be in Seattle next Tuesday (June 20th) for the big Opera announcement. I'll be taking tons of pictures, audio, and video for everyone, so be sure to keep a geek eye on our myspace and the home of all of the Seattle clips and info: The Blog Factory
Be sure to bookmark that site and check it out next Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday for my Seattle info and updates!
Hey everyone, we're taping version 2.2 today so we need more of your feedback, questions, suggestions and shoutouts.
The stuff that we've gotten so far has been awesome, it has helped us make the show better.
But we need more!!!!! Want to say hi to mom, want to shout out to your dog, want us to flash up a picture of your internet boyfriend and serenade him? Wait, nevermind.
"After hearing accusations that Coldplay's Chris Martin stole a song
from unknown band Creaky Boards, Schmidt lashes out in defence of
Coldplay in this intense and unbridled (and quite obviously
unscripted) tirade against the millions of Creaky Boards fanboys."
