April has come and the Basesia has not gone

Went to the doctor who assured me that I still had the Babesia and needed to take the awful yellow medicine for another two months. Was disappointed, but not too surprised as the symptoms had not gone away. She also added another pill that has to be taken twice a day in between all of the other pills. Not sure, but I think I am taking around 35 pills a day. Most are supplements and all cost a small fortune when added together.

Meanwhile, Cassidy, the Great Pyrenees, is recovering well from her surgery. In just one more week, she should be able to return to a regular dog life including trips to the dog park to play with the other canines and to swim in the lake.

Spring is daily springing all around us. The gardens ever changing as new plants reemerge from somewhere underground. It is a mystery that continues to give me joy each and every day. Spring is the best time of the year. Changing seasons make sense to me. The cycle of life each year reassures me that all is well with the world even though in reality, it is not. But at least in my garden things are good.

After a couple of days of rain, the sun is shining again. It is warm, but not too hot. A perfect day to go out and look at the progress of the garden.
