Fancy Skiing

Now it’s skiing time again!
I’m a snow lover, though I’m not actually good at skiing. And I’m longing for skiing in our splendid capital—Beijing.
Last weekend Beijing saw its first snow flake flurry, although it didn’t last long. This year’s warm winter has postponed the opening of its dozen of skiing resorts, but most will open anyway in early December, according to China Daily.
Then, can the thin snow bring us fun? Never mind, most of the skiing resorts can make their own snow. And among these resorts, the most famous one was Beijing Shijinglong Skiing Field, which was built in 1999. it’s know as the only skiing field that faces south, which allows the skiers to bathe comfortably in sunlight and free of harsh wind. This advantage attracts more than 100,000 visitors per winter.
Besides, there are many coaches at the skiing field. The coaches are instructed to first of all to guarantee safety, and then cultivate interests, and skiing technique comes at last. And this brings back my memory of learning skiing. It’s when I was in my primary school, my cousin aught me. And the most tough part was how to stay up and how to stop…I spent most of my time falling down onto the ground… those are such good old days, though they sent me scars on my hand as permanent present. I’m appreciate those scars, because they gave me two lessons—one, to stay up. Every time I fell, the scars encourage me to stand up again. The other, to stop. I believe that, it’s he who knows how to stop can accelerate…
