Introduction
Before I start this blog post, I just want to introduce myself, my name is Brendan and i love my music, rap, hip hop, r&b and other variety of music.
iPod and iTunes
Before I got an iPod Nano, I had an unreasonable hatred for iPod and iTunes simply because I thought they were over priced and took too much of the market.
Now that I have had a couple of weeks with the iPod I have changed my view point completely. iTunes works effortlessly with iPod, smart playlists also work on the iPod which is a plus though there are small bugs that only bother really snobby iPod users.
Yesterday I bought an iTunes £15 card and within 12 hours I had already spent all of it. It is so easy to find music you want and download while knowing that you are doing so legally. I usually buy albums from shops, but never bother with singles, since Woolworths closed its doors it's been difficult to get singles within the local area.
From now on I will purchase all singles from iTunes and possibly albums.

CDs Vs. iTunes
Plus Points
iTunes: Music you download is recorded, so should your PC go boom then you've always got that back-up.
CDs: You do not need Internet access, you get CD art with a booklet that can include messages and other interesting things
Minus Points
iTunes: Internet access required, cannot access import albums, have to use iTunes or an iPod to listen to the music, you are also limited to the bit rate that iTunes operate on which is usually 256kb/s.
CDs: If the disc dies and you lose all music data then you have to buy it all again sad
Conclusion
Both have their uses:
CDs: Buy for albums - Suitable for purists, and fans of an artist
iTunes: Use to Buy Singles or albums if using a net book - Suitable for casual listeners
It really depends on user preference.
