Good days make great deeds...
Its June 13th, we all went for an afternoon outing to play Cricket the brewing passion in perot.
Four teams and 3 matches and a good pavillion(ground) with perennial refreshments.
Me in B team, deepak and dileep with us aswell ...also there my good pal shivendra.
We had a match with SAP and won it 58 runs needed in 7 overs, won it comfortably by 10 wickets in juz 5 overs, thanks to vaibhav n dileep. Next the finals with Rajesh's team...tried aggression against the team with good bowling attack and finally bundled for 50. Then we bowled and virtually bowled our hearts out, also we bully the umpire a bit too much and Rajesh is upset. Anand, Anil, Rajesh and all key players out ... thought we did finish it of in cool style but Ravindra and Samudrip play it to their teams victory...a close defeat indeed. Meanwhile I was bitter that day that I played nothing(nothing to bat n nothing to bowl), however got over it in quick time though..A dramatic day it was, tides always turning either way and new twists added regularly to the tale.
Earlier Rajesh's team won against team C lead by Aditya HR. Team C scored low and Team A finished it off in less that 4 overs. A match that lacked fire power from atleast one side. The day was exciting and refreshing(and a bit bitter for me though for I felt people lacked confidence in me). In an aggressive team u need to prove to gain confidence, u are not always allowed an oppurtunity to prove urself. This was my learning from my bitter experience.
All people those participating and those not participating where overwhelmed with enthusiasm as I saw that day. Our Head Viji was aswell cheering us and Adithya did pretty good with his commentary team which includes sumit aswell. I tried at it aswell and felt that I needed to be a bit forceful with my commentary. SP ka Lunch box completely hajam. A good outing in all. Everything looks pleasant at the start, lets see whether familiarity seeds contempt. A word of caution is always helpful with a pat on the back.
That all for this post!!
