Looking for some refreshing to dance to at the club? Tired of the same old remixes of half-interesting pop songs? Check out the new single by Bijou - "Two Bottles", which blurs the lines between hip hop, electronica, and pop. The song has a hook that's of the "fun to sing nonsensically for the rest of the day" variety and a beat that makes even the non-dancer in your group want to get up and move. This is the kind of music that people love to hear.

Even if you’re not in the club, “Two Bottles” is a song you’ll want pumping in your car or singing to you through your iPod. The song is infectious and I pressed the replay button more than once when I first heard it. This is a must buy and download type of song because you’ll want to hear it again and again.

Bijou brings a sense of fun and passion to his music and you can tell he has fun with his music. And, of course, there’s the pure sex and desire element. You can almost lick up the sultry lines of the song and Bijou exudes charm in his vocal stylings. Click here for more Bijou Music

But it’s not all vapid fun.  Unlike a lot of similar songs the song has a clever play on concepts and themes. Smart pop? Don't be shocked -- Bijou brings it with "Two Bottles", which mixes a modern desire story with Alice in Wonderland. This modern fairytale is reflected in the music video (available on Vimeo). As a result the song is memorable instead of pure audio Chinese food which makes you hungry a half hour after you listen to it.

The music video itself is a treat of visuals and not to be missed. The two bottles in Alice in Wonderland style surprised and delighted me. Then the object of Bijou’s affection shrunk after drinking one! Adds a sparkling visual story to an already cleverly worded song.

With an inspiring perseverance and doggedness Bijou works hard to get his music out there and it shows in everything he does. This passion is what really makes Bijou a cut above the rest. Bijou, San Francisco born and now LA based, is experimenting with a lot of new media advertising techniques to get his music out there - including a YouTube series of "behind the scenes" videos (see part one here). I really fell in love with Bijou because of these endeavors to connect with fans and spread his music because of his own love affair with it.

In a recent interview with ForTheSound.com Bijou talked about what he'd like the audience to take away from his songs "I would like people to walk away with a sense of hope in the music since my career so far has been based on perseverance and belief, and I would hope that people could be inspired as I have."

If you're looking for something new to inspire and get you up off your seat and dance check out Bijou's single "Two Bottles" and his upcoming EP release A New Day.
