HAROLD LLOYD'S 3-D NUDE PHOTOGRAPHY

Less famous historically than charismatic Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd is nonetheless considered a silent film innovator and genius as well. His films include The Freshman, The Kid Brother and Safety Last from which comes the iconic image of him hanging over Manhattan from the hands of a clock. Lloyd retired from film making and pursued his other great passion 3-D photography is reported to have traveled the globe and snapped around 300,000 slides. He took landscapes and still-lifes but what him became famous for were his glamour shots of models and Hollywood stars, including some great shots of Marilyn Monroe. A new book has been published that includes a set of 3-D glasses to enhance your viewing pleasure. There is no 3-D technology here at the Uranium Café but I did manage to find a few samples of his work. These photographs below are of the most famous pin up model of the 50’s Bettie Page.
