Damsels Vixens and Femme Fatales, Pin-up Girls

A simple photo tribute to the sexy and statuesque Julie Newmar. I suppose by today's near anorexic requirements for sex goddess status she may be too flawed but she is perfect in my slim book of requirements. I am not familiar with her work really outside the Batman TV series and the Gregory Peck film Mekenna's Gold but she was impressive in both of those. She radiated self confidence and it was no doubt boosted by her personal interest in martial arts like Judo and Akido. There are other posts dedicated here at the Cafe if you care to search for them. There is indeed something stunning about that first picture in the post with her hands on her hips. I also like the one in the leopard suit, though in that one she seems to be a little to obviously sucking it in. I believe corsetry does that trick in the first picture.

Man I never even thought about that stuff... girdles and corsets and sucking in tummies. I am really naive I guess. Totally disillusioned now. I adore Julie Newmar and some old TV starlets. I am beginning a couple new categories... on old TV shows and maybe, not sure, one on pin-up girls. I have a tagged category now for damsels and vixens but have been toying with a pin-up style section so long as it stays PG-13 or R rated at most. I would certainly promote old pin-up paintings and drawings. not sure yet. Also plan on redoing my movie review sites into a sort of "the last movie I watched" thing with shorter comments. I typically hate to read a long winded movie review and now I find myself doing the same thing. But to be honest, it can be fun and is good practice. I may begin reviewing some films at places like Rotten Tomates or IMDB.
