Southerly flow will continue to support water levels of 1 to 1.5
feet above normal during the next high tide this afternoon and
evening. These departures combined with the already higher
astronomical tide due to the new moon will cause minor tidal
flooding during times of high tide.

35.7 west or about 795 miles...1280 km...west-northwest of the Cape
Verde Islands.
The remnants of the depression are moving toward the northwest near
13 mph...20 km/hr...and this general motion should continue with
some decrease in forward speed during the next couple of days.
Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph...45 km/hr...with higher
gusts.
