The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has
issued a coastal Flood Advisory... which is in effect until noon
EDT Monday.

A combination of southeasterly flow and a full moon will continue
to produce positive tidal anomalies up to two feet across the
Chesapeake Bay and tidal Potomac River. Minor coastal flooding is
expected through high tide Monday morning.

* Flood Watch to include portions of Maryland... the District of
Columbia... Virginia and northeast West Virginia... including
the following areas... in Maryland... Anne Arundel... Carroll...
Frederick MD... Harford... Howard... Montgomery... northern
Baltimore... Prince Georges and southern Baltimore. The
District of Columbia. In Virginia... Albemarle...
Arlington/Falls Church/Alexandria... Clarke... Culpeper...
Fairfax... Greene... Loudoun... Madison... Nelson... northern

Heavy rain showers will affect much of Maryland... northern Virginia
and the District of Columbia through the rest of the night in
advance of a low pressure system moving northeast across the Ohio
Valley. Local rainfall amounts of around one and a half inches would
cause flooding of small streams and creeks... in addition to urban
flooding across the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
