You say they don't just kill off a main character, but Naruto just killed off Jiraiya. Plus, it seems to me that bleach is finally starting to come to a close, so anything can happen at this point.

If a main character dies its up to the writer. There are many movies and books where the main characters die, and Jiraiya was a big side character to boot. It is necessary sometimes to kill off a few characters, even if they are the main characters, it'll make the ending even more dramatic. Even if you like it or not, it is still the writers choice.

actually i just think, that this will be a big battle, where aizen will win again, and maybe ichimaru or tousen, dies or change of side... but the one i think will not die its Aizen...
hardly Orihime could die,.. look too soon for that... but yeah there its a posibility... and yeah they are main character, but the story dont goes arround orihime, goes arround ichigo and captains and hollows... may be the writer want ichigo with rukia and not with orihime... its up to him...
