Kiya hai qaid teri qurbaton k mausam ne

Hazaar baar mera jism khaak Par tarpa,

The secret of happiness!

, , ,

A certain shopkeeper sent his son to learn about the secret of happiness from the wisest

man in the world. The lad wandered through the desert for forty days, and finally came

upon a beautiful castle, high atop a mountains. It was there that the wise man live.

Rather than finding a saintly man, though, our hero, on entering the main room of the

castle, saw a hive of activity: tradesmen came and went, people were conversing

in the corners, a small orchestra was playing soft music, and there was a table covered

with platters of the most delicious food in that part of the world. The wise man conversed

with everyone, and the boy had to wait for two hours before it was his turn to be given the

man's attention.

"The wise man listened attentively to the boy's explanation of why he had come, but

told him that he didn't have time just then to explain the secret of happiness. He suggested

that the boy look around the palace and return in two hours.

"'Meanwhile, I want to ask you to do something,' said the wise man, handing the boy a

teaspoon that held two drops of oil. 'As you wander around, carry this spoon with you without

allowing the oil to spill.'

The boy began climbing and descending the many stairways of the palace, keeping his eyes

fixed on the spoon. After two hours, he returned to the room where teh wise man was.

'Well,' asked the wise man, 'did you see the Persian tapestries that are hanging in my

dining hall? Did you see the garden that it took the master gardener ten years to create?

Did you notice the beautiful parchments in my library?'

The boy was embarrassed, and confessed that he had observed nothing. His only concern

had been not to spill the oil that the wise man had entrusted to him.

'Then go back and observe the marvels of my world,' said that wise man. 'You cannot trust a

man if you don't know his house.'

Relieved, the boy picked up the spoon and returned to his exploration of the palace, this time

observing all of the works of art on the ceilings and walls. He s aw the gardens, the

mountains all around him, the beauty of the flowers, and the taste with which everything had been

selected. Upon returning to the wise man, he related in detail everything he had seen.

'But where are the drops of oil I entrusted to you?' asked the wise man.

Looking down at the spoon he held, the boy saw that the oil was gone.

'Well, there is only one piece of advice I can give you', said the wisest of wise men.

'The secret of happiness is to see all the marvels of the world, and never to forget the drops of

oil on the spoon.'

Badal Aur Chattanain. . . . .

, , ,

Tum log to baadal ho

Hawaon ki saath aaye

Kuch der aasman par chaaye rahe

Barsey. . .

Aur kahin door nikal gaye,

Hum chattanin hain, apni jagah par Qaayam

Aur humain maalum hai k

Jaaney wale lout kar nahi aatain.....

Thori bahut to zahan mein naaraazgi rahe

Apani tarah sabhi ko kisi ki talaash thi
Hum jisake bhi qarib rahe door hi rahe

Guzro jo baagh se to duaa maangte chalo
Jis mein khile hain phool vo Daali hari rahe

Ayse chup hain k ye manzil bhi khari ho jesy

Ayse chup hain k ye manzil bhi khari ho jesy
Tera milna bhi judaaie ki ghari ho jesy

Apne saaye ko bhi dekhu'n to yunhi lagta hai
Rasty mein koi deewar khari ho jesy

Kitney nadaan tujhe bhoolney waley k tujhe
Yaad kerny keliye umar pari ho jesy

Tery mathy ki shikan pehly bhi dekhi thi magar
Ye girah ab k mery dil mein pari ho jesy

Manzilain door bhi hain manzilain nazdeek bhi hain
Apny hi paaon mein zanjeer pari ho jesy

Aaj Dil khol ke raoye hein to yun khush hain FARAZ
Chand lamho ki ye rahat bhi bari ho jesy

Kahien aablon key bhanwar bajien kahien dhoop roop badan sajien

Flying without wings!!

, ,

Lyrics from the song by Westlife.

Everybody's looking for a something
One thing that makes it all complete
You'll find it in the strangest places
Places you never knew it could be

Some find it in the face of their children
Some find it in their lover's eyes
Who can deny the joy it brings
When you've found that special thing
You're flying without wings

Some find it sharing every morning
Some in their solitary lives
You'll find it in the words of others
A simple line can make you laugh or cry

You'll find it in the deepest friendship
The kind you cherish all your life
And when you know how much it means
You've found that special thing
You're flying without wings

So, impossible as it may seem
You've got to fight for every dream
Cos who's to know which one you let go
Would have made you complete

Well, for me it's waking up beside you
To watch the sunrise on your face
To know that I can say I love you
In any given time or place

It's little things that only I know
Those are the things that make you mine
And it's like flying without wings
Cos you're my special thing
I'm flying without

And in this place I long to be
You'll be where it ends
I'm flying without wings
And that's the joy you bring
I'm flying without wings
