Share and find themes easily / Theme Updates

,

The moderators of Blog Designs have teamed up to make themes easy to create, share, find and install. Check out the links above to find themes, authors or chat it up with other CSS junkies. Find themes released by the group moderators in the archive. We've also created some guidelines to ensure themes are easy to share and install. They can be accessed after the break.

Unreleased, unannounced and hidden themes.

, ,

I would just like to make note that there are tons of unreleased, unannounced and therefore hidden themes that I have made. The reasons for the status' of these themes are various and include very linear aspects, unfinished code, themes with user-specific headers (that would need changing for public use), and among many other things. However, with little to no CSS work, the themes are still very usable. Let's consider them as beta themes. If you would like to view these types of themes, you can search "theme" in the groups section, or you can visit the Theme link by visiting this blog's sticky post.

Takeda

, , ,

Takeda was originally released on my blog. The theme was inspired by the Opera Tech Break theme. You can read all about it here, or you can preview the theme here.

immi

, , ,

A very simple mod of the typical My Opera blog themes, immi. The theme is monoscale RGB 34 with a grey background. The theme has code focused on the Blog, Archive, and About pages. Pages like Photo and Friends are not coded for, but should look fine. The theme also supports CSS Transitions, menu and archive elements are equipped with said transitions. You can preview the transitions by visiting my archive. Otherwise, you can preview the theme by visiting the Themes link on the front page sticky, or by clicking here.

It's too late to apologize..

It's too late!

Anyway. Yes. I (and perhaps the other members are too) am truly sorry for how dormant this group has become. I plan to update the photo albums (mine at least, maybe I'll even scrap the idea and go with another system*), update the theme home pages, and do a little cleaning here and there, while posting some themes that I've made in the past, but haven't released. Please do note, that I am perfectly fine with people snooping into my css file and taking the code/theme for use, if they want to do so before I actually release the theme.

Thanks for bearing with us and have a nice day.

*You can find a list of released, unreleased, and open themes by visiting the Themes link on the Blog Designs' front page, via the sticky post.

Oh So Red (For Japan)

,

Themed after the Japan earthquake. You can view and install the theme by visiting its home page. More instructions on how to install, and links to the banner for your custom header text is included.

CSS Stock

This post contains the stock CSS that was used before the theme "Oh So Red (For Japan)" took over. It can be a little messy. The code contains code from the all of the admins of this group.
