Joe Walsh - So What (1974)

Possibly Joe Walsh's best solo album, 'So What' ranges wide stylistically (classic rock, harmony-enhanced pop, classical gas and a bit of tomfoolery) and features some of the underrated singer-songwriter's most enduring songs ('Welcome to the Club', 'Falling Down', 'Turn to Stone', 'Time Out', 'Help Me Thru the Night', 'Song for Emma') and his most inspired guitar work. Notable guests include Dan Fogelberg, J.D. Souther, Glen Frey, Don Henley and Randy Meisner.

I'm not sure what happened to the LP I had, but at least the album's still available on CD in its original short and sharp running order (i.e. without being overstuffed with pointless fillers and outtakes like many recent CD reissues).
