Video: Steve Hillage - Hurdy Gurdy Man (1977)

I first heard Steve Hillage in the mid-'70s on John Peel's weekly BBC World Service show. The "hippie guitarist" had a spacey sound that entranced me immediately. This live version of Donovan's 'Hurdy Gurdy Man' has some stellar guitar work by Hillage -- like many another prog-rock player of the era, he was woefully underrated as an axeman!
