OX, Vista, Mac
So what's new? Everybody is talkign about VISTA now. Many of my friends have already swtiched to Vista, including those fully-cracked copies.(sorry Microsoft I wont give out the names) This pretty new thing came out on Februray caused a lot of debate between Mac and Windows users. Vista introduces the idea of gadgets and spotlight search. But Mac users has been using that for a long time. The difference is in Mac we call it widgets. hohoho.
Another big issue with Vista is compatibility. Friends complaining that many software just dont work on Vista, pretty much reminds me teh days I installed the Windows XP-64bit. Everythign went well except I can't find a working anti-virus software.
I havent' got my vista yet and I really dont think I would do so. The next computer on my list is a iMac. Mac users dont really need to spend extra money on other software. With purchase of a Mac system you get iCal, iPhoto,iDVD,KeyNote,Page, Widegts(dashboard). You need to purchase a copy of Office if youreally want to use WORD,EXCEL etc. Honestly, I would say Mac system is so cooler than Windows. The only reason I am still using Windows is I can enjoy the beautiful view of BSOD...
Dont knwo what BSOD is?
BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!!!
Just to remind you guys, It's new and flashy doesn't really mean it is right for you. well, this applies to the upcoming iPhone. Not sure how many would pay $600 for a phone... I would get a camera lens I craved for such a long time. *GRIN*
PS: Vista users at Akron Univrsity can not get conncected to school's wireless service because of compatibility issues. lol. CSU is lucky this time.
