Lodgers

The sparrows I had nesting above my balcony seem to have disappeared. They weren't there for so long. They left me a pile of nest-like stuff and some bird crap. Their way of saying thank you, I suppose. There may be some sort of time-share scheme going on here, as I had swallows (or martins or swifts or something) there last year around the beginning of August. I wonder if they'll come back to the same place, or if some other variety will stop off on their summer holidays before then.

Changed to summer tyres! It's a plant!

You obviously make them feel safe smile

Well I was trying my hardest to make them bugger off actually wink - thinking that they might become semi-permanent residents, droppings and all. But knowing that they're just fleeting visitors, I don't mind now.
