A very enjoyable, if knackering, experience. I have enormous blisters on each heel as temporary mementos.
The weather enroute was ok - largely overcast with the odd snow shower, and the sun shone through for a few hours on the first afternoon and the final morning.
The idea of skiing across an iced-over lake leaves me a little uneasy, but it seems quite a normal winter thing for Scandinavians. This is Rondvatnet - the last 4 kilometres or so of day 3 went along the length of this lake.
