It's taken me more than two years, but I finally went along to Lerkendal tonight to see RBK grab an equaliser against Odd Grønland. A fine stadium it is too, but the lack of pies or bovril was disappointing, although not entirely unexpected. The visiting support was small, but then Norway is a big country, and travelling distances are considerably greater than those involved even in a Ross County vs (insert any team from the central belt here) tie. Perhaps they were put off coming because they knew they'd be penned into the shittiest corner of the ground, without even the prospect of a half-time meat pie to ease the humiliation.
