A JAPANESE GIRL

Day5. Kyoto

Kyoto
Finally we have reached Kyoto. What is known to be the tradition Japanese city (however I consider Tokyo to be more traditional). We visited a few temples like the famous Golden Pavilion, the thousand red gates and the rock garden.
What I really wanted to see most of all was ‘Maiko’ (known to foreigners as Geisha, but slightly different. First Maiko, then Geisha). Unfortunately, I didn’t..
Kyoto is a very nice clean city.
Be sure to get the all day 500 yen bus pass when you travel..

Day3. Osaka

Hiroshima - Osaka
The bus dropped us off at Osaka Station at 4 in the morning. For the first 2 hours we rode on the train to catch up on some sleep and to be warm. It is quite chilly in Osaka at that time of the morning, so the train was the best place to relax and keep warm before we could check into the hotel. Like Tokyo, Osaka seems like a nice place to live. I have no idea about sightseeing in Osaka. I only wanted to visit one of the locations from the movie 'Black Rain.'
But, the main reason I was looking forward to coming to Osaka was to taste the food. Osaka Food!! Kushi Katsu, 'Mecha Umai,' めちゃうまい!yum yum!!

Day1. Atomic bomb

First Stop - Hiroshima (Atomic Bomb Dome)
13 hours away from Tokyo by bus, and our first stop was Hiroshima.
As you know, on August 6th 1945, at 8:15 am, an atomic bomb was used as a weapon against people for the first time in human history.
We visited the bomb dome (see photo) and also the museum. At the museum we saw many pictures of victims, clothes and personal goods, the history, survivors photos, drawings and models of the A-Bomb and the surrounding city that it that came into complete and utter devastation.
Many of the things were hard to look at and the footage was hard to watch.
I could imagine it to be hell, just hell...

I'm back

I got an "USAGI"<rabbit in Japanese> on my left leg!!! I almost forgot the feeling of my first tattoo. I bought a chupa-chup to relax me. It didn't.
My teeth nearly broke from clenching them too hard from the pain of the tattoo needle, and my hands went purple from holding them tightly together.
I love my 'USAGI chan' so much and I'm looking forward to the pain disappearing, the color settling and my skin repairing.
Crazy Usagi on the moon with cherry blossom falling from above...

EAT ME No1.

This is my special chocolate cake.
The candle "1" means one month anniversary for our friendship with my friend.(not like relationship:love:)

I love his sense of composition.

Hmmmmm......yummy!EVERYONE EAT ME!!

We began to drink two hours before the concert started.

I didn't feel that drunk but suddenly shaking my head and i thr:faint: w up many times at bathroom.i hit my head on the ground.i might have lost some memories..i don't really remember anything.i listened to Linkin Park at bathroom ...
I couldn't see but
Im sure they performed very well.
when i got out bathroom the show is already over!i don't remember how to,but i got home safely by taxi.i didn't realize i was drunk badly.i was.

At last i want to say "Im really Sorry" to my friends.they were worried about me very much.and look around every places.

I LOVE THIS GUYS VERY MUCH.

tonight we had a good bye party for a girl who left our branch last week.
we went to drink restaurant as NOMIHODAI(← which means as much as you can drink!)then went to KARAOKE:sing: that is our regurler party course.
we sometimes get generation gap in songs, the youngest worker is 19 years old and the oldest is 36 years old.im 33..
anyways,i always have good Karaoke time.

Like Running around the room:ko: ,Dancing:insane: ,screaming:lol: so much fun!!
we took this picture 5am in the morning in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

most of workers work this day incruding me.we just went home then back to work in few hours.
it is CRAZY way but it is "Japanese way."

"I WORK HARD and PLAY HARD! "
we were half sleeping at work.

Fireworks + Beer = Great Summer.

I went to see fireworks at "Tokyo bay".
Fireworks is a symbol of Japanese summer.there are many fireworks ivents throughout the Summer time. although a bit crowded some of shows are really great.we often dress in a traditional summer Kimono called "Yukata" and watch the shows.
Today this show has 100,000 fire works. and 144,000 spectators.it is the bigest show in Japan.
At first our friend told us "1,000,000 fireworks this night!"
WHAT!? ......1,000,000..that is alot.(she was wrong.)
it is a really hot day the temperature is about 35 degrees.so i wasn't sure i can see the ending without sickness from the heat and drunkness.

as usual we started drinking about 3pm on the street when we were waiting the gate open.then we have to another wait till start fireworks at 7pm.we almost drank 3-4 can of beers befor start.

the another problem is Yukata.it makes me sick :ko: it is really tight and keeps heat inside.im smiling in the photo but im getting drunk.but no one tell im drunk or not.:bandit: he he.

The show was great!beer is nice! i really enjoyed "A day of Summer 2007"

I made my Yukata when i was high school.

It is really difficult to take pic of はなび (Hanabi=fireworks in Japanese) ..

Night picnic.

I love wine.
one of my intests is wine.wine is such a sensitive/interesting drink.

Land
Weather
Fermentation degree
How takecare of grape

always taste changes with any conditions.
today i brought two bottles for night picnic. Why night:cool: ? coz it is too hot in the day time!anyway, one is "Shiraz Mourvèdre" 2004 South Australia and other one is "Pinot noir" 2006 New Zealand.they are really good.i bought them in OZ and NZ on my last holiday for my friend who is red wine freak G.im very happy to meet these wine.

"Shiraz" is full body Its taste varies greatly according to area, but often has a wild, gamey or earthy flavour, with soft fruit flavours of blackberry.

"Pinot noir" is light and fresh flavour. As is the case for other New Zealand wine, New Zealand Pinot Noir is fruit-driven, forward and early maturing in the bottle.High quality examples of New Zealand Pinot Noir, particularly from the Martinborough region, are distinguished by savoury, earthy flavours with a greater complexity.

After finished these bottles i was completely drunk :drunk:
it was miracle to get home by myself.i don't remember half of my way to home.
often my friends say that it is incredible thing in Japan,

"a drunk girl walk on the street alone safely in middle of night."

that is a great point of Japan.i never thought about walk alone toward home after 10pm in overseas.
(but not always safe,ofcouse.)

at Yoyogi park,Tokyo.

Don't waste your time.
