Friday Night

at night, because of the normal wireing in a family room, I have them in a kiddy play pen with their puppy couch. It's so darling, they'll get tired, go over to the area, sit and whine till one of us will put them in the pen area. I hate the pen area, but safety is more important, it's why they created them for kids, our eyes can't be on the little one's all the time.
The pups have about 3 hours of run around time during the day, even though I've just started to pen them up at night. They wake up, potty, eat, sleep... and start the cycle over again. a few times we'll get to play with them or we'll get to hold them while they sleep. I really love hands on with the pups, they're such a joy.
I haven't slept in my own bed in 6 weeks past maybe 2-3 hours while someone else is with the pups. Do I need to be this way, no, probably not, but on some level I feel that me being there when they puke snots out their noses and I wipe it up quickly, makes things easier on them, then if they waited their turns for Opal to take care of them.
Yesterday they pretty much was glued to the family room, and today they're chasing opal right threw the kitchen onto the big dog bed by the front door. they're a hoot. Tank is the one who's the moves it the most.
Tomorrow is inspection day behind my two sofas to make sure they didn't do anything there today. The cute little guys have been a hoot, it's like an adventure for them, they'll pass on the left side of the sofa and end table and make it around back of the sofa, to the next end table then next thing they know, they're right in front of their pen area, but on the other side, but blocked in.
I think they like to play me, they'll whine and want me to pick them up and bring them back to my side and I do it for them.
I tested the little guys today and I tapped on their food bowls when they were back there and they all knew how to come back to eat on their own (I've officially been played by 6 week old boston terriers and they won). this just is not right
